On The Horizon

2018 Has got started with the beautiful or should I say bellisimo wedding of Alessandro and Amber. The setting for their day was St Audries Park at West Quantoxhead.
Alessandro moved over here from Sicily where he met Amber on a night out. Neither at the time could speak the others language but that made no difference as quite clearly they were meant to be. Seven years on from that fortunate day they were married. The language barriers have disappeared as they now converse quite happily in both English and Italian.

There is plenty to look forward to over the coming year with lots of lovely weddings and lifestyle shoots.

Recent news articles state that fewer people are getting married. My diary certainly tells a different story or is it something about the air in this corner of the world? Whatever it might be I can see many happy weddings on the horizon. Congratulations to everyone tying the knot this year.

A very busy 2017

2017 was a very busy year for weddings and it was fabulous to be part of everyone's very special celebrations. I do think I have one of the best jobs in the world photographing all the great times people are having. Weddings are one of those rare moments when you get to gather all your family and friends together under one roof for a party that lasts all day and well into the night! Over the next few pages are some of those moments I feel privileged to have been part of during 2017.

With special thanks to good friend Glen who travels a long way down the M5 to work as my second shooter on many occasions.

The year got off to a great start with Jenni and James in April

James has arrived with best man and musician friends who provided a surprising finale to the ceremony

Jenni and her bridesmaids were clearly having a great morning and those clouds were not going to put them off!

A moment of contemplation before the ceremony.

That's the register signed now for the very fast dance down the aisle!

Jenni and James reception followed their love of country sports and was held at Frogmary Green Farm, South Petherton in Somerset.
